Chennai: The Great Lakes Institute of Management Business School has recorded a 31% increase in the average payment package during the PGPM campus placement (Postgraduate Program in Management) Batch 2022.
The average payment package offered by the company to students grew from RS 13.6 lakh per year to rs 17.86 lakh per year.
This average pay also marks historic high for the institute since the beginning.
Glim, who said it had reached 100% of campus placements consistently since its launch, saw 313 job offers for his students this year from 224 offers last year.
There are 22 new recruiters to campus this year including startups and new companies such as credibenu, intelligence design, bristleCone, consulting KMK, India Lowes, and others.

The majority offer comes from the business consulting segment and strategy (42%) and technology consultation is another major role.
There is an increase in the requirements of the company this year, especially for those who have previous work experience in various domains, and the PGPM Flagship Institute (1 year MBA) program consisting of such talents, said Glim.
