Ludhiana: MC’s house has resisted the resolution to take over 18 colonies and schemes of Greater Ludhiana Development Authority (GLADA) for maintenance and development purposes at the General House MC meeting on Tuesday.

Congress Council member Vineet Bhatia and Umesh Sharma said, “We are unable to bring these colonies under MC’s jurisdiction because most of the time, Civic’s body without funds but the reverse Gladada has enough funds for the same thing.” They said they did not get funds from Civic’s body in the past too.
