Ranchi: With the head of Minister Hemant Soren put the foundation stone for the Foundover Kantatoli after increasing its length of up to about one kilometer on Wednesday, the locals are still worried about their settlement because the five-year-old project continues to bite dust.
On Wednesday it was announced that The Flyover Kantatoli will be built from this year.
It has been extended until Yogada Satsang ashram near Chowk Siramtoli at one end and until Chowk’s choke on the other.
The total length has increased to 2,250 meters from 1,250 meters in the previous plan.
The purpose of the increasing length of high road projects is to facilitate the movement of traffic on busy Junction Kantatoli that connects the city with the main intercity highway.
This project is being carried out by Jharkhand Urban Infrastructure Development Corporation (Juidco) And apart from the increase in length there has been no big change towards Namkum and Lalpur.
