Baghdad: Two armed drones were shot down on Monday when they approached the Iraqi military base that hosted the US near Baghdad International Airport, Iraq’s security source said, reported that there were no casualties.
The attack came as Iran and his allies in Iraq marked the second anniversary of the murder of General Iran Top Qassem Soleimani.
Soleimani was killed in a drone attack near Baghdad airport ordered by US President Donald Trump.
