However, Apple seems to have canceled the questions with the sale of a strong holiday season.
According to a report by CNBC, Apple Ming-Chi Kuo analyst has revealed that Apple sells a total of 90 million airpods during the 2021 vacation quarter.
Moreover, the latest model – airpod (gen) has become a hit and sold 27 million units during the same period.
Kuo said that sales will provide Apple in revenue growth of 20% year-on-year for the category that can be worn.

However, the KUO figure revealed a significant leap for airpod on the market.
Apple still has an undeniable leader but the amount has been reduced.
According to Canalys, Apple sent around 17.8 million units of true wireless earbuds – this included the old one under the beats brand – at Q3 2021.
Airpods delivery fell 33.8% as in the quarter in accordance last year, Apple has sent 26.8 million Unit.
Apple, according to Canalys, is a market leader with a market share of 24.6% but this number also fell from 37.6% in Q3 2020.
90 million airpases sold during this quarter meant that it was a great holiday season for Apple and the earbuds True wireless.
In fact, the new airpod seems to have sold more than all Apple airpods sold in the previous quarter.
Note that Apple does not reveal shipping for its products now, so it won’t be an official number but gives us indications.
