Kolkata: Trinamool Congress did not try to weaken the Congress throughout the country, but installed resistance to BJP, National Secretary General of the Abhishek Party Banerjee told colleagues and workers on Monday.
TMC, however, did not see any alliance with Congress both in Tripura or in Goa.Banerjee denied allegations that TMC political activities recently detriminalized the prospect of the Congress and could help BJP.
“We are the only party that can fight BJP politically.
We don’t want to hurt the prospect of Congress and that’s the reason we don’t go to Uttar Pradesh or Punjab.
But the struggle against BJP can’t wait for someone,” he said.
TMC has made a significant breakthrough in Tripura replacing Congress, which was destroyed in the last Civic poll.
While the congress witnessed the spiral down, TMC claimed to have pocketed more than 20% of the votes in Tripura.
Banerjee, who was on a two-day visit to Tripura, told party colleagues that they did not try to decide any party, but would accept anyone who was willing to join TMC.
According to the person in TMC, Banerjee said that TMC tried to weaken the Congress, it could make it into countries ruled by Congress such as Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Punjab.
This has increased activity in countries ruled by BJP such as Tripura and Goa.
However, the congress had to get out of his stupidity.
At the Steering Committee meeting at Agartala, Banerjee asked workers to fight BJP in the field.
Despite the attack on TMC workers in Tripura and the leaders of Bengal, TMC would not curl up.
He requested partymen in the northeastern state of preparing for the upcoming assembly poll in the state.
Banerjee said that Trinamool did not have a plan immediately to falsify the alliance with Congress in Tripura.
