Patna: Three police personnel about the duty patrol and the other two were seriously injured when a truck (Hywa) was loaded with stone chips crashing into their gypsies and falling near the Beur Mor on Patna around 5am on Tuesday.
The Gypsy police exploded after a collision, killing two policemen and the driver in place.
Hearing a loud voice, the locals rushed to the place and told the police.
The body was taken from the remains of a broken and destroyed police vehicle.
The fire brigade reached there and poured fire.
The deceased was identified as a Constable Prabhu valid from Surendarpur, Constable Pukhraj valid from Maner and driver Rajesh Kumar (district police force) from Dhodha.
Sub-inspector Siyacharan Paswan from Vaishali and Constable Srikant Singh from Anisabad was injured and underwent treatment at PMCH.
Police vehicles went from Anisabador Mor to Beur Mor for routine patrols.
Hywa driver may not see it because of the thick mist in the morning.
Trainee DSP Primal Tripathi and responsible for the Beur police station told this newspaper that three policemen died in place and two sustainable burns.
