Zanzibar: an official in the Tanzania semi -utonomian region in Zanzibar said that 10 people had died when their ship was upside down as they traveled to attend the funeral.
The South Regional Commissioner Mattar Zahor said nine other boat passengers were saved and treated after a reverse Tuesday night near the Kisiwapanza, an island adjacent to Mkoani Regency.
The other is missing, Zahor said.
While rescue work is paused because of strong winds, “our search team will do our best to ensure we find it,” Commissioner said.
