City police get a victory for the implementation of e-governance

Coimbatore City Police has received award certificate for effective e-governance implementation in the past two months.
City police submit more than 11,000 files through the e-office application in December to secure number one position.
“We aim to achieve administration without paper,” said Police Commissioner Pradip Kumar.
“We submitted 9,975 files in the e-office in November and 11,316 in December.” Kumar handed over award certificates to minister staff on Friday and appreciated them.
The Tamil Nadu (TNEGA) E-Governance Agency has introduced an e-office, a set.
Application to conduct office procedures electronically.
This allows electronic file management to dispose of fast files, resulting in better use of labor, thus avoiding delays and leading to better governance.
The purpose of the e-office is to eliminate paper use and make the most electronic office communication.
Junior Assistant, Supervisor, Account Officer, and Administrative Officers can enter the application and upload details of police officers, leaves, public giving funds (GPF) and weapons for each person who approve authorities for permission.
“This application ensures transparency.
Senior officers can check files from one place and also check fat,” Kumar said.
The e-office was introduced to Coimbatore City Police from March 2020.
The DGP office was announced in October 2021 which was first taken to account every month based on the number of files thrown away from November.
