Aurangabad: The majority of leading schools in Aurangabad are still operating because they are not under the scope of local civilian bodies because they are in the suburbs, from the rural part.
In the middle of a fresh covid outbreak, a large number of students from the city have traveled to these schools, which are located 5 to 10 km from the city.
The stakeholder section, including parents and staff, has been looking for the closure of these schools in the suburbs on the lane to turn off the Aurangabad city schools.

Prasiantha Kumar, head of Jain International, Maliwada, said these schools only followed the official orders of the Ministry of Education by allowing class teaching.
“Like other schools, our school is also closed for most of the pandemic period.
Because there are no official orders about school closure other than city limits, we are doing offline classes by taking all security measures that might oppose,” he said.
When contacted, Nilesh Gatane, CEO of Aurangabad Zilla Parishad, official calls about the functioning of the school will be taken in the near future depending on the increase in the number of Covid cases.
“The benchmark survey conducted by the authorities to assess the learning ability of students in rural Aurangabad has revealed the performance of expectations below by students in general.
This fact also needs to be taken into account when receiving a call at the close of school,” he said.
