New Delhi: The Ministry of Houses Union on Friday issued an exhibition notice to the Bathinda police chief and five other senior officers for “main deviations in security” during the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Narendra to Punjab.
The center also supports the petition at the Supreme Court for a thorough investigation into security violations and seeks NIA’s involvement in the investigation because there is a possibility of “international terrorist angle”.

The Top Court also asked both the Center and Punjab the government stopped any trial into the incident until Monday, when he would hear the problem again.
SC said some officials from Nia had to help HC registrars in general in collecting evidence including wireless messages related to PM visits because the general clerk may not know the sources from which the records were obtained.
