Greater Noida: A 25-year-old man has been arrested from the speech on Saturday for allegedly smuggling liquor.
Gautam Buddh Nagar police have confiscated 70 cartons of liquor and SUVs from hers.
The defendant, Mandeeep Kumar, was a resident of Sonipat in Haryana and used to buy liquor at a cheaper price than Haryana to sell it at a higher price in Gautam Buddh Nagar.
“He was involved in such crimes from the past year,” Umesh Bahadur, Police Station Sho Jewar informed.
Sho also added, “We have received a tip-off of the movement of liquor smugglers around Jhajjar Road.
After this, the trap is placed and the alleged vehicle was stopped because it was examined.” The team found 70 cartons of liquor, SUV, and a countrymade gun from Kumar ownership.
“The defendant was produced before a court and sent to prison.
It was also found that he had a case against the name of excise in Kushinagar Regency,” Bahadur said.
The case has been registered with men below 60.63, and 72 of excise.
