Kabul: Nearly 90 percent of the Afghan Health Center can be closed at the end of 2022 because of the current economic situation, said a new report by the International Rescue Committee (IRC).
Millions of Afghans will be left without health care facilities and millions of people are more likely to lose their lives if the current economic and political situation continues, reporting Khaama’s press quoting the IRC report.
Future warning to the Afghan people, the report estimates that up to 97 percent of people in the country may face hunger at the end of 2022.
The IRC report also stated that the current state economic situation could lead at the close of almost 90 percent of the health center in Afghanistan.
With regard to deteriorating situations, IRC has called on the international community to advance and help the Afghan health sector by providing AIDS.
Meanwhile, the World Food Program (WFP) recently said that at this time, Afghanistan witnessed severe poverty because the workers were dismissed and countries facing difficult economic situations.
WFP also said that organizations needed to USD 2.6 billion to feed around 23 million Afghans now on the verge of starvation.
