Bhubaneswar: The leader of Congress Navajyoti Patnaik has urged the UNION Railway Minister ASHWINI VAISHNAW to establish a train division in Balalasore.
At present, things related to the Balalasore train are being guarded by the Kharagpur division of the Southeast train.
“Ballasore interest, and North Odisha, have not yet been reflected in the policy and investment decisions by the train.
The initial formation of the train division in Balalasore will run away in fulfilling the legitimate aspirations of our people and changing the trajectory of economic activities in the region,” Navajyoti wrote , the son of the Niranjan Patnaik Congress President, in a letter to Vaishnaw .navajyoti said the potential of Balasore Tourism could be tapped by an extension of the railway line from Nilagiri to the Mayurbanjuh district, the connecting area provided with natural beauty.
“There is scope to create jobs in the tourism sector and provide a big boost for the Balalasore economy.
The train can play an important role in this matter,” the letter stated.
Navajyoti said some Shiva temples are located along the route Jaleswar and Digha.
The train line along the route will attract more tourists.
Even though it was promised again, it has not been delivered, said the leader of the Congress.
In addition, there is a long demand for the extension of the Rupsa-Bangiripohi line with Gorumanani.
This will ensure a shorter link to Jamshedpur and improve the regional economy, the letter says.
Proposal, if implemented, can provide encouragement to the development of comprehensive Odisha northern, he said.
