Nagpur: The Vidarbha region reported 1,468 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours.
The four districts with cities of Municipal Corporation reported three digits of new cases, consisting of Nagpur (832), Chandrapur (106), Amravati (100) and Akola (92).
Other districts report the addition of two digits of cases.
There were no deaths reported for the fourth day in a row on Sunday.
A total of 21,770 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours, which was the highest after the second wave receded at the end of June last year.
With 1,468 of them positive, the test level of the test was 6.6% on Sundays.
Overall, 134 patients recovered from Covid-19 in a day.
Recovery was reported from all Vidarbha Regency, except Wardha and Akola.
The recovery rate has fallen below 98% in the last three days, but still above 97.6%, which is a good indicator.

Washim: There are 23 new cases in the last 24 hours while three patients recovered from Washim.
Now, 68 patients are under care in the district.
Bulldhana: Of the 1,018 tests carried out in the last 24 hours, Buldhana reported 34 positive cases.
Five patients recovered in a day.
Now, this district has 136 patients in care.
Gondia: With 1,448 tests conducted in the Gondia, 79 of them were tested positively.
Eight patients recovered in a day.
Now, this district has 237 patients in care.
From them, 218 recovered in house isolation.
Gadchiroli: There are 30 new cases of 990 tests carried out in the last 24 hours.
Two patients recovered.
The district now has 147 patients in care.
Bhandara: District conducts 1,174 tests in the last 24 hours.
With 66 of them positive, Kaseload Covid-19 Bhandara reached 60,301.
With three patients recovering in a day, 58,980 patients had recovered so far.
Bhandara has 187 patients who are in care.
21 of 40 new omicron cases from NGP reports sequencing genomes from several positive samples sent from Vidarbha arrived from the BJ College Laboratory and National Virology Institute, Pune.
From them, 40 positive for Omicron variants.
These include 21 of Nagpur, six of Amravati, each four of Akola and Buldhana, three of the Gondia and two of Gadchiroli.
