Bengaluru: Note Kannada Writer Prof.
Chandrashekar Patil died of a disease related to age at a private hospital in Bengaluru on Sunday.
The Chairman of the Ministry of Karnataka Basavaraj Bommai has expressed his sadness when passing Kannada Litterateur, critics and personality of the famous theater Prof.
Patil.

His contribution to Kannada and Karnataka is very large.
He is at the forefront of Gokak and many other movements for the causes of Kannada and Karnataka.
He strongly encouraged Kannada to become a medium of teaching in education, said Bommai in a condolences.
He is a professor of English at Karnataka University, Dharwad and Editor ‘Sankramana’, Kannada literary publication.
He also served as Head of Kannada Development Authority and Kannada Sahitya Parisat, said Bommai.
Champa’s death is a big loss for the world of literature, CM Bommai said and had prayed the Almighty to give strength to the family and followers to bear this loss.
