Mumbai: NCP President Sharad Pawar on Monday begged Maharashtra State Transport Corporation (MSRTC), who was on strike for more than two months now, to rejoin the task, while the Minister of Transportation Anil Paratab assured no disciplinary action to be taken against 50,000.

From October 28, 2021, the majority of MSRTC employees were on strike, which was intensive from November 9, crippling bus services from the government-managed transportation business.
According to the MSRTC release, the corporation has served notification of showing off to around 50,000 striking employees, but has not taken action against them such as suspension or dismissal of services.
Speaking at the meeting, said pawar for the past two years, Pandemi Coronavirus has caused financial losses to state transportation companies, which are connected with ordinary people.
A question mark has emerged on the existence of the organization, the former Union Minister said and appealed to employees to immediately rejoin the task to avoid difficulties for passenger lakh and for the MSRTC future.
“There are no actions to be taken against around 50,000 employees, who have participated in strikes, so far there have been no actions taken against them,” said Puriab.
The Minister said at the same time the government would take a sympathetic and positive attitude about employees who had been suspended or dismissed from services after agitation began.
According to Union leaders, the committee has demanded a roll of action taken against employees besides eliminating anomalies in the salary of the MSRTC staff.
MSRTC is one of the largest public transportation agencies in the county with a fleet of around 16,000 buses and almost 93,000 employees.
The corporate bus is used to transport around 65 lakh passengers every day before the pandemic.
