Mumbai: Lokesh Chandra’s best general manager on Monday issued a direction that prohibits drivers who are not fully vaccinated from operating the red bus.
This step occurred after the best recognized recent reports published in Toi where a city surgeon complained about the driver of the bus which was not fully vaccinated and did not wear a mask.
The rule applies to both the best and also those who wear wet rent from private operators, where the driver is provided by private agents.
“I have also directed my staff to ensure all employees, including drivers, conductors and ticket retailers, are fully vaccinated earlier.
If the driver or conductor is found not wearing a mask correctly, we will take a strict disciplinary action against them,” he said.
