Jaipur: A month ago, 14 state districts did not have active cases.
The situation has been completely changed and now each district has an active case.
The worst affected district is Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, City, Alwar, Ajmer and Bikaner, who reported nearly 70% of Covid Country cases.
Chittorgarh is above the district list, which does not have an active case in December 10 but now has 415.
Jalore has the lowest active case in two, followed by Karauli and Baran, each of which has five and eight active cases, such as on January 9.
Cases increased since December, but took steps in January.
“Now all districts have active cases.
We have issued instructions throughout the state to collect more samples for the initial identification of cases, which help prevent the spread of the virus,” said a senior health department official.
Among the regencies who have active cases on December 10 are Chittorgarh, Sawai Madhopur, Sirohi, Pratapgarh, Tonk, Banswara, Jhalawar, Churu, Rajsamand, Dholpur, Bundi, Baran, Kariauli and Jalore.
However, all districts now have active cases.
Now, more than half of the districts have reported Omicron.
Districts that have reported Omicron are Ajmer, Bhilwara, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, Bikaner, Hanumangarh, City, Alwar, Jaipur, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Jodhpur, Sirohi, Pratapgarh, Udaipur, and Chittorgarh.
The official said because the state has reported cases in an increase in number, it is not possible to carry out the sequencing of the genome from each case to identify if the patient is infected with delta or omicron or other variants.
So, each district has been given a sample quota that they can send every month.
