New Delhi: The Supreme Court will be on Wednesday to hear pills looking for independent investigations into hatred speeches made on the “Dharam Sansad” which has just been held in Haridwar.
The problem will be heard by a bench led by the Chairman of the NV Ramana judge, Ani reported.
Earlier this week, The Top Court had agreed to hear this problem after recording the submission that there were no actions taken against those who made hatred speech despite registration for Uttarakhand police.
The petition was submitted by Journalist Qurban Ali and former Judge of the Patna High Court and Senior Advocate Anjana Prakash.
They have been looking for directions for “independent investigations, credible and impartial” by sitting in incidents of hatred in the Muslim community.
Application, which specifically refers to the “hatred” speech delivered between “Date 17 & 19 December 2021 in Haridwar and Delhi”, has also requested the compliance of the Apex receivable guidelines to handle the speech.
One event was held in Haridwar by one Yati Narsingandan and the others in Delhi by ‘Hindu Yuva Vahini’ allegedly “calling for membership genocide” a community.
The Uttarakhand police have submitted FIR on December 23, 2021 under various IPC provisions on several people including Wasim Rizvi, Sant Dharamdas Maharaj, Sadhvi Annapoorna aka Pooja Shakun Pandey, Yati Narsingan and Sagar Sindhu Maharaj.
Similar complaints have been submitted with Delhi police for the second event held in the national capital.
The request said there were no effective steps had been taken by Uttarakhand and Delhi police.
Until now there is no FIR filed by police Delhi even though the call for ethnic cleaning at the event is set here, he said.
