Following the announcement of the F2P transition at The Game Awards (TGA), South Korea’s video game developer Krafton has announced that the pubg: BattleGrounds are now free to play on PCs and game consoles.
Players can now play popular Battle Royale games on their PCs and consoles without paying for the game.
The company also said that this new F2P transition for the pubg: BattleGrounds marked a new era for the game.
Along with the new announcement, the company has also introduced new battles plus an optional increase in premium accounts, available at a cost of $ 12.99.
BattleGrounds Plus include a 1,300 g-coin bonus, Survival Mastery XP + 100% Boost, a career medal tab, ranking mode, special match functionality, in-game items, including Camo Captain sets, which include caps, camo gloves, and camo.
The player who has bought a game before the F2P transition will get a special commercial package pubg.
The package will come up with an automatic account increase into a plus battle, the costume skin set that is hardened by the battle, a pan legacy shackle and shanks and a battle reinforced heritage name board.
In addition, the company has also begun to launch updates version 15.2 for the game.
This update brings new tactical teeth, a new category for items in games that help improve the performance of players.
New tactical gear includes drones and EMT.
This drone allows players to reckee long distance and also take goods without taking any risk.
Gear EMT will allow players to choose faster healing capabilities for themselves and team members.
Other additions as part of updates include increased fluidity in games with action queues, basic training modes that include new AI training matches and lobby tutorial mission.
