New Delhi: Towards the election of assembly in five states, Twitter microblogging sites on Thursday announced a series of initiatives to increase involvement with voters.
The ‘Jagrukvoter’ campaign aims to empower residents with “the right knowledge before they give their voices”.
According to press releases by Twitter, this initiative is directed at not only to ensure high voter voters, but also ensure voters are involved, involved and informed throughout the election cycle.
Initiatives taken by Twitter include further customized emojis launch supported by “notification mechanisms and reminders”.
This will allow voters to register voluntarily for reminders on the day of polling.

Twitter will then start the selis of voter education that will involve people in questions and answers, equip them with the necessary facts about the poll.
It will also promote voter literacy through attractive quizzes in English and Hindi, launching on January 25, which was observed as a national voter day.
People will be able to participate in the quiz by clicking on the ‘image website card’.
This will include questions about the voting process, polling booths, voter ID registration, and more.
