Altogether 15 collection centers have been established in all cities saved to the center.
The five ambulances of the state government animal will assist in rescue work.
The Forestry Department has also started aid number for animal injuries where people can call to tell.
“More than 50 veterinarians are deployed to provide care at these centers along with nearly 950 volunteers from different NGOs,” Nayyar added.
“This time a long weekend during Uttarayan.
Usually, people go picnics during a long vacation, but with covid limits they will stay at home and fly kites.
We are afraid, this can push this injury number,” Darshan said Desai from the Prasih team.
“Karuna Foundation has been involved in rescue work for 12 years now and in the past four days has saved 15 injured birds.
Experts also predict good winds that would be another reason for more bird injuries,” said Jayesh Sadhani from Shree Chandra Ashok Som Karuna Foundation.
