Panaji: Reacting to the Election Statement of Devendra Fadnivis, Former Minister of Manohar Parrikar said on Thursday that the son of Parragar was a criterion for getting tickets to fight the assembly election, he would insist on the nomination of Panaji for 2019 Bypoll after his father’s death.
“I cannot tolerate the degradation of the value system in Goan’s politics, mainly giving tickets to people with more criminal antecedents so that in the electoral areas represented by my father for more than two decades, so I asked for a ticket,” said Mr.

Utpal met the minister of house Amit Shah in Delhi and presented his case for tickets.
Fadnavis on Wednesday said that the party could not provide tickets to Utpal for Goa February 14 to come only because he was the son of Parragar.
“Fadnavis is a senior official, former Maharashtra First Minister and opposition leader from workers, “Utpal Toi said.
“If you go in the field, you will realize that people who have worked since 1994 and worked hard with my father helped build a party in Panaji working hard with me today,” Utpal said.
Recently, Utpal also met with the National President of BJP J P Nadda and put on his case before him.
On Sunday, Panaji Mla Stanasio Monserrate called his campaign scheduled to be launched on Monday.
His decision came after Utpal claimed that he would become a BJP candidate from Panaji.
Last week after Monserrate said that he was here to stay in BJP, Utpal clarified his intention to enter the assembly field 2022.
“Now not looking back …” Utpal had tweeted.
Monsterrate, top competitors for Panaji BJP tickets, have several cases against it.
During the 2019 Bypoll campaign, BJP has warned Panaji voters on voting for Monserrate by saying that there are all kinds of cases raised to Him.
Selected in Congress tickets, Monsererate then joined BJP along with nine other MLA Congress in July 2019.
