New Delhi: The Ministry of Defense has formed an online portal to complete complaints related to retirement from EX-SERVICEMENT (ESM) and their dependents, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh announced on Friday.
This portal will allow them to file a direct complaint with the Ex-Servicemen Department of Welfare (DESW), he stated on the occasion of the veteran day of the armed forces.
“I am happy to announce the settings of the Raksha Portal Pension Shikayat Nivaran designed to predict retirement, including complaints related to ESM and their dependents retirement for fast negotiations,” Singh said on Twitter.
The portal will help existing and future military retirees, he said.
“The portal application will produce automatically and forward text and email to applicants on their registered numbers and emails, indicate confirmation and tracking status,” he said.
The Minister also announced that DESW had given Rs 320 Crore to Frud Daver Flag (AFFDF) to remove all backlogs of applications that were delayed for welfare schemes, especially marriage education and grants for ESM widows or children who were dependent.
“This (Rations of Rs 320 Crore) will benefit 1.66,471 ESMs,” he said.
The minister also stated that the Directorate General of Resettlement had issued 22,278 work letters – including 7,898 job workings to a new increase in retai / first time – to civil ESMS in the government / psus / bank and the private sector during the 2021 -depember 2021, he said.
