Bhubaneswar: The police on Saturday arrested a minor of Balipatna for allegedly raping a nine-year-old girl in the same village.
The minor was sent to a correctional house after Plea Guaranteed was rejected.
The police said both (girls and men) were neighbors.
The boy claimed to have raped the girl.
The police arrested him as a suspect based on a witness account.
“He has been arrested,” said DCP Uma Shankar Das.
