Mangaluru: Senior Congress leader B Ramanath Rai on Sundays greatly criticized the center to reject the Tablo of Saint Reformer Sree Narayana Teacher proposed by the Kerala Government for now.
Overcoming the reporter here, Rai said the Tablo rejection of Sree Visionary Narayana Teacher was great by the union government for the Republican Day Parade ‘very smart.’ The teacher is a visionary, spiritual philosopher and social reformer who fight against the caste system, injustice and social discrimination carried out in the backward class suppressed by the top caste.
The teacher, who preached the doctrine of ‘one caste, one religion, one God, has thousands of followers and worshipers.
By rejecting Tablo, the center has insulted its great visionary and philosophy, said the former minister, adding the ‘painful’ decision and ‘cannot be forgiven.’ Rai said when the ruling Congress in Karnataka, the state had observed the birthday of the teacher’s birth as a government program.
A Sree Narayana Teacher’s study chair was also institutionalized at Mangalore University.
The central refusal of the tableau to him is an insult to a large visionary cannot be tolerated, he said.
