5.42 Dosage Crore Vaccine is managed in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: exactly a year after the Covid vaccination process began on January 16 last year, Odisha has visited a total of 5.42 crore doses so far.
A total of 2.28 crore people have been fully vaccinated while 3.11 Crore has taken at least one dose.
India’s national vaccination drive began on January 16 last year.
Priorities are given to health workers and frontline workers are followed by those who are over 50 years and a population group under 50 with co-morbidity.
Vaccination was opened for all over 18 years from May 1 last year.
Two Covid Vaccines – Indian serum covishield institutes developed by Oxford-Astrazeneca and Bharat Biotech make Covaxin – given to most countries.
Then the Sputnik-V vaccine is given to many people in the state.
Keeping the third wave in mind, the center has begun to provide a dose of prevention for health workers and frontline workers along with people over 60 years with comorbidity from January 10 have also begun to vaccinate children between 15 and 18 January so far, the district Ganjam received more than 48.4 doses of Covid Lakh vaccine, the highest number compared to other districts in the state.
The state has 3,53,249 health workers (HCW).
While the 99.8 percent HCW has received the first dose, 95 percent of them have taken their second dose.
More than 80,000 HCW has received a dose of prevention.
Similarly, the state has 3,52,544 frontline workers (FLWS).
From them, 99.3 percent have taken the first dose and 94 percent received their second dose.
More than 61,000 FLWs have taken prevention doses.
The state has provided a prevention dose to more than 2.28 beneficiaries of the lakh until Sunday night.
More than 10 doses of lakh have been given to children aged between 15 and 18 so far in the state.
