Mumbai: BMC on Sunday revised testing and house quarantine rules for passengers who came from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), including Dubai.
According to the new rules, passengers who arrive from the UAE do not need to undergo compulsory RT-PCR testing at the airport.
They also will not be asked to undergo a quarantine of a mandatory seven day house.
“According to the previous soup, the quarantine of a seven-day house and RT-PCR test which on arrival was made mandatory for the passenger.
This direction has now been revised.
There is no special soup that applies to passengers who come from the UAE, including Dubai.
Applicable guidelines for International travelers who arrive from countries other than ‘risky’ will be made valid for travelers who come from the UAE, including Dubai, “Round issued by the Civic body on Sunday stated.
