Super dynamic resolution or DSR is a technology developed by NVIDIA which can provide 4K quality graphics even on your HD screen.
So, if your graphics card is able to run the game on 4K but you have a 1440p monitor, you can use this technology to get better visuals.
If this game supports 4K, this technology makes the game with more detailed resolution higher and once again shrink the results to the resolution supported by your monitor.
It helps in getting sharper images but can cause a decrease in performance because you will ask your GPU to do more work.
Deep Learning Dynamic Super Resolution (DLDSR) Tech has been there for a long time and the company has now developed a better version of the same technology as they are included in their latest drivers.
The company claims that users can use this technology to make ‘most games’ look sharper by running it at a higher resolution than the supporting monitor.
This new technology is called Dynamic Dynamic Learning of Super Resolution or DLDSR.
What is DLDSR? This technology uses the same DSR concept and adds AI which serves to increase visuals.
The company also claims that this technology will not be luxurious with many original resolutions to get better performance, but users will be able to get a similar increase in image quality.
This means that the image quality produced by the DSR runs at four times the resolution will be similar to the quality of DLDSR images will result in running at 2.25 times.
Although, this result is only Nvidia claims and the company has not shown one of the best case scenarios.
It is possible for users to get different FPS results in different games depending on the settings where they run the DLDSR.
Users will be able to experiment with it in one of their favorite old titles, considering the support of the game that is extensive, but users will still need a NVIDIA RTX graphics card to use it.
Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) Nvidia has used deep learning to improve performance and previous image quality.
The company also gets a lot of praise for super sampling and DLSS systems.
This is an upscaling machine-learning and spatial technology that uses information from past frames to produce the current frame to reduce GPU’s workload.
This technology is limited to choosing titles such as the god of war and used in several matches.
Competitors Rival TechnologyNvidia AMD also announced its technology to improve graphics and performance in several games.
The name AMD used for the technology is a super radeon resolution.
Not exactly using the same technology as DLSS or DLDSR but intended for the same purpose.
AMD has its own upscaling technology called super virtual resolution.
How to use DLDSR? To use Nvidia DLDSR users must update the latest drivers and open the NVIDIA control panel application.
Then, go to 3D Manage settings and click on DSR.
Then select one of the DL scaling options from the drop-down menu.
