Coimbatore: Police All-Woman Thudiangur on Sunday caught a 21-year-old man to attack sexual a 14 year old girl.
Police said M Sudhakaran, 21, from Ramasamy Nagar near Kalapanatickalayam, was a driver.
“He developed a relationship with the girl.
On Friday, the girl left her house told her family members that she went to a temple.
He didn’t return for a long time and family members could not find it,” said a police officer.
His parents approached the police to find him.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, Sudhakran contacted the girl’s parents and told them that the girl was in her house, the officer said.
“The girl’s parents gave us information and we launched an investigation.
During the investigation, it was revealed that the man sexually attacked him several times in the past two months.
The hospital examination also confirmed the investigation,” the officer added.
Based on complaints from the girl, the police registered a case under the protection of children from the actions of sexual violations (Pocso).
