Android smartphone may immediately get a screen time widget.
9To5Google has seen a new shortcut in the beta version 1.0.416751293 from digital well-being.
This widget will be reported to indicate the time spent by users on their cellphones along with the top three applications used.
This report also shares a screenshot of the upcoming screen time widget.
The screen time is displayed at the top followed by the top application used.
The time according to the application is distributed proportionally, according to the dynamic color theme on the Android operating system.
Size-wise, the widget can be compact at 2×2 or 2×1.
It can also be expanded for a larger display.
When bigger, the most used application is placed at the bottom, instead of up.
As per report, the screen time widget will be available for all Android users.
This will not be exclusive for pixel users.
There is no expected launch timeline from the new widget.
The screen time widget is available for iPhone users.
Widget displays information from a summary of the user’s screen time.
You can use the screen time to get information about how you and your family members spend time on your device – what applications and websites do you use, how often you take your device, and more.
You can use this information to help you make a decision about managing the time you spend for the device.
You can also schedule time from your screen, set the deadline for application use, and more.
