New Delhi: The third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in India, triggered by a very contagious Omicron variant, is likely to peak far earlier than anticipated, according to a report by SBI research.
The report noted that part of the new cases of the 15est-hearted districts had seen a massive decline of 67.9% in December to 37.4% in January.
However, the report recognizes that 10 of these top 15 of these are big cities and among Bengaluru and Pune still have a higher level of infection.
The findings came in the middle of a slight decline in the case of Daily Covid in India.
This country has reported swimming in new infections over the past three days, with 2,38 lakh cases reported on Tuesday.
