Nagpur: The famous neurological Dr.
Chandrashekhar Meshram has been nominated as a trustee for the Federation of Neurology (WFN).
WFN is the highest academic organization in the world of nerves in the world with 122 countries as its member community.
WFN was founded in 1957 and since then, Dr.
Meshram is the first neurologist in the country that will be nominated into this coveted position.
He is one of the five WFN supervisors and the only representative from Asia to the WFN office.
Dr.
Wolfgang Grisold from Austria is the President of WFN.
The WFN mission is to foster quality neurology and brain health throughout the world through neurological, research and training education.
Dr.
Meshram will be the sound of underdeveloped countries and develop in WFN.
After serving as Secretary and President of the Indian Neurology Academy, Dr.
Meshram moved to the international arena.
He is the President of the Special Tropical Neurology and Geographic WFN since 2017 and recently re-elected for the second term.
Previously he worked as a member of Constitution and Bye Laws Committee of WFN for three terms and members of the WFN scientific program committee for two terms.
He represents India seven times as a national delegation for the WFN Meeting Delegation Board in Bangkok, Marrakesh, Stockholm, Vienna, Santiago, Kyoto and Dubai.
At present, working with Ian, he organizes innovative series’ inspires people in neurosciences under the Aegis WFN.
