Kalyan: Sena Shiv managed to maintain their strength at Maharashtra Shahapur Nagar Panchayat by winning a maximum of 10 seats against BJP who won 7 seats.
At Murbad Nagar Panchayat, BJP has managed to maintain strength again by winning a maximum of 10 seats even though Sena Sena Shiv’s senior leader Shinde puts all his efforts to defeat the Safron Party.
The defeat of Shahapur Nagar Panchayat for BJP is considered a big blow to MP BJP and Patil State Union Minister.
Patil, under the Bhiwandi Lok Sabha Shahapur Nagar Panchayat came down, tried his best to win the election but he failed to get 9 magic numbers to get the majority in 17 seats.
In Shahapur, Shiv Sena won 10 seats while BJP, who had previously had 4 seats, this time won 7 seats.
In Shahapur, where NCP has MLA, the party has not won a single seat.
On the other hand, in Murbad Nagar Panchayat, BJP MLA Kakhan Kathore, who has a strong handle, managed to maintain his strength in the Civic body by winning a maximum of 10 seats.
Kathore said, “We won the election because the development work was carried out by BJP at the limit of Murbad Nagar Panchayat in the last five years”.
