New Delhi: The bank auctioned agricultural land because the default loan has become a political problem in Rajasthan with BJP accusing the Government of Gehlot’s failure to protect the interests of farmers carried out by him.
The Minister of Trade and Piyush Industry Goyal on Wednesday showed a recent case in Dausa where a farmer died with an extraordinary lender from Rs 7 Lakh.
The bank auctioned land when his family failed to pay the loan amount.
“The Government of Congress in Rajasthan has crossed all the boundaries of cruelty towards farmers,” Goyal tweeted, and marked the agency report which quoted the farmer’s son said he had asked the authorities to postpone the auction and gave the opportunity but they refused.
“Farmer land is struck by false promises of loans in countries ruled by Congress,” he said, adding that many breeders were depressed ending their lives.
Agency Report said that Dausa farmers have taken loans from Rajasthan Marudhara Gramin Bank and failed to pay payments.
