Noida: Seven criminals, including groups of four and three people, have been arrested in two separate cases in the city.
According to the deputy of additional police commissioners, Ranvijay Singh, illegal weapons have been found in the first case during the examination in sector 62 and they plan to try to grab.
“Our team has received information about criminal movements near the Sector Roundabout 62.
A team reaches the place and stops the Hyundai I-10 car, which does not have a registration number plate, to be examined.
We recover four countrymade weapons, six live cartridges, two screw drivers , and four wire cutters from them, “Singh got information.
“The defendant revealed that they gathered at the Sector 62 Roundabout and had planned to commit crimes such as snatchings but were arrested before that,” he added.
Meanwhile, in the second case, three people were arrested for alleged their involvement in automatic removal cases.
Police said that the defendant traveled on a motorcycle in the 49 sector and was stopped by checking.
“Drivers fail to produce documents.
They were detained and asked.
During interrogation, they revealed that it was a stolen bike.
The defendant was used to reset the vehicle and steal them,” said Anjani Kumar Singh, Sector 49 Police Station.
