Letter: The task force has been formed together by the police, the local industry and the Gujarat pollution control agency (GPCB) to prevent illegal waste disposal in the Sachin GIDC area.

CCTV cameras will also be installed in these locations for 24-hour surveillance.
This team will have representatives from the local industry association, regional officials who are notified, police and GPCB.
Representatives of the four general effluent processing plants (CETP) operating at Sachin GIDC will also be part of the team.
They will be given a vehicle to keep watching in certain locations that are disturbed by the problem of waste disposal.
“The team will work as a task force that will monitor illegal dumping from waste chemicals in the area.
We tried to ensure that all of these illegal activities were stopped completely,” said Police Commissioner of Ajay City Tomar.
