New Delhi: The City Court on Thursday was sentenced to Dinesh Yadav – the first person to be punished in connection with the riots that swept the parts of the capital in February 2020 – up to five years in prison.
Yadav has been punished last month because it became part of a unlawful assembly, riots and participated in robbing and burning the 73-year-old Manori house.
He will be paid at 12,000 Rs, the court is worn on Yadav.

The judge noted that a written statement submitted by a prisoner has stated that he was unemployed and without sources of income.
He has said that his family has residential accommodation in Bhagirathi Vihar, Delhi, worth Rs 1 Lakh, which in the name of his father died.
Affidavit also states that the convict does not have a moving property or does not move with its own name.
“In a written statement submitted by the Special Public Prosecutor studied, it has been stated that prosecution has raised the total expenditure of 83,000 Rs in demanding this case against prisoners,” said the court.
The victim’s impact report on January 10, 2022, also stated that the convict did not have a payment capacity, the court added.
The court also recorded the fact that even though the victim, Manori, was said to suffer a loss of Rs 4.5 lakh to RS 5 Lakh in violence, he did not produce documents to prove his claim.
The report also stated that the victim had received a total of 50,000 Rs as compensation from the Delhi government.
The court then sentenced Yadav to five years in prison for a violation under the 436 section (Mischief with fire or explosives with the intention to destroy the house) and 149 (Assembly violate Law) IPC.
It also sentenced him to six months in prison for a unlawful assembly, as stipulated in Section 143, one year in prison for riots, three years for violations under section 392 (robbery) and two years for violations under Section 457 (Lurking, House Trespass or House Breaking by Night) IPC.
All sentences will go together.
Forcing a fine of RS 12,000 on Yadav, the court said that it would truly be trusted to direct the convict to pay further compensation to the victim, and for the same reason, he could not be directed to compensate for the prosecution of the costs incurred by him.
“Maintain the fact that the convict is unemployed, does not have a moving property or does not move with its own name and does not have a payment capacity as disclosed in the victim’s impact report submitted by Delhi legal service authorities, east, Delhi, Delhi, Delhi, Delhi, and It also takes into account the fact that the victim has received several compensation from the NCT government from Delhi because of the losses he suffered, with this directed that the fines imposed on prisoners will be paid as additional compensation, “said the court.

He has called for a possible maximum sentence for inmates.
