Noida: The RWA umbrella body in twin cities has demanded a uniform policy that will provide ownership rights to residents of their properties, but without extra payments, in response to the state government seeking advice on proposals for rental land conversion in Gautam Budh Nagar.as Per freehold system, Allottee received ownership directly from the property.
The Leashold system provides property ownership for only 90 years of property.
Other occupant groups such as the Federation of the Welfare Association of the Citizens of Noida (Fonrwa) and Jan Shakti Rent Samiti have also sent their objections to existing systems.
In fact, this problem has been postponed with the state government since 2018 when the Noida Authority Board provides a principle approval for freehold property in the city.
According to PS Jain, President Conrwa, wherever conducting industrial development laws, 1976, provides resident rental properties “and therefore not justified or legal”.
Conrwa has filed a petition on the problem in Allahabad High Court.AN Dhawan, former Secretary General of Fonrwa, said, “On October 31, 2018, we organized Dharna outside the Noida Authority Office to demand our freehold property.
Noida MP Mahesh Sharma has handled the meeting Also.
As a result, the authority agreed to record our request for the freehold property.
But since then, residents have pursued this problem.
“While the government also contemplates the proposal for conversion of leashold properties into the freehold based on the current circle level and calls for suggestions on the current Same, all the population bodies have unilaterally refused to make additional payments.
“All allottes in seven cities covered by the industrial development authority above, including Noida and Greater Noida, have made payments needed from time to time, taking into account the cost of development.
There is no any logic to issue a freehold policy based on conversion costs, accordingly With the current circle level, “Dhawan said.
