New Delhi: India recorded 3.47 lakh new Covid cases, 9% higher than yesterday, while active cases rose to 20,18,825, according to the UNI Ministry of Health data on Friday.
The overall number of very infectious Omicron variants reached 9,692 today with 29 countries reported new strain cases.
The death toll rose to 4,88,396 with 703 fresh fatality according to data that was updated at 9am.
With calculating 3.91 cases of crore, India is the second most worst country after the US.
The active case now consists of 5.23 percent of the total infection, while the national Covid-19 recovery rate decreases to 93.50 percent.
Increased 94, 774 cases have been recorded in the Covid-19 Kaseload active in the 24-hour range, according to the Ministry of Health data updated this morning.
The daily level of pioneering reached 17.94 percent while the weekly peposititivity level was 16.56 percent.
Testing capacity throughout the country continues to be expanded.
