Last month, Microsoft began testing the sound access feature for Windows 11 with Build 22518.
This feature allows you to manage basic tasks in Windows 11 using voice commands.
You can use the feature to open or close the application, look for anything in a web browser and other similar functions.
It can also be used to dictate text or control your PC mouse cursor.
Now, the company has announced that it adds a sound access feature to a virtual keyboard with a new Windows Insider update.
How the Windows 11 sound access feature functions with a virtual keyboardas described by Microsoft on its blog, which you can only use features to display or hide virtual keyboards by using commands such as “Show keyboard” or “Hide Keyboard”.
Because you have dictated text using features, the main purpose of this feature on the virtual keyboard is to help you spell words such as names and e-mail addresses, insert numbers, enter punctuation and symbols, and to enter Emoji.
After you open a virtual keyboard using the voice command you will see the number on each button.
The number will help you press the button using the voice command.
For example, if you want to press the ‘G’ button, you can say “click 18”.
You follow similar instructions to open the Emoji panel and press the other button too.
In addition, the company has also announced that it began to launch sound typing ability to download the greeting package from Microsoft Store for an introduction to device-based greetings that provide better transcription performance.
You must note that these features are only available for users listed in the Windows Insider program.
The company has not revealed when features will be available in public releases.
