Ahmedabad: Gujarat reported 21,225 new Covid-19 cases on Friday, a decline from high-time recordings of all time ago, took the calculation to 10.22,788, while 16 more patients surrendered to infection, the state health department said.
Tally was lower than the highest of all time 24,485 cases reported on Thursday but still a second highest surge since the plague of pandemic in March 2020.

A total of 2,10 lakh people were vaccinated against Covid-19 on Friday, increasing the number of doses given so far in the state of the 9.60 crore, the word release.
The Union Dadra and Nagar Haveli region, Daman and DIU reported 31 new cases and 34 recovery.
With this, the number of Covid-19 cases confirmed in UT rose to 11,161, and recovering cases to 10,905, officials said.
Now there are 252 active cases in UT, which has reported four deaths so far, officials said.
