BHubaneswar: Institute of Agriculture Extension Management (Figure), Odisha Government Autonomy Institute, has requested the Atma Project Scheme (Agricultural Technology Management Agent) not to continue a new proposal to establish a community radio station in the state.
The Institute stated in the letter that some unsetable extension activities of the Atma cafeteria had been stopped and the D2 component (community radio station settings) was quoted as one of the dead activities.
Given this, the new proposal may not be forwarded to the image, read the letter issued recently.
Atma is a registered community responsible for the spread of technology at the district level.
The entire overall activity related to extensions including exposure trips, demonstrations, tour studies and exhibits are widely referred to as Atma Cafeteria.
However, the Ministry of Agriculture and the welfare of farmers in the January 18 letter did not mention the setting of the Community Radio Stations as one of the few activities.
The Ministry of Finance has limited the spending of submission to agricultural extensions (SMA) for the period 2021-22 to 2025-26.
Thus, the number of extension activities and labor has been rationalized.
Extension activities that do not function from existing Atma cafeterias have been stopped and the spread of labor has been restricted, reading ministry letters.
The body of the farmer and the Community Radio Association expressed concern about this decision.
Na Shah Ansari, the Founder of the First Community Radio Odisha, Namaskar Radio, and former President of the National Radio Association of the Indian Community Radio, said that “the Nascent Community Radio Movement in Odisha will be the center of the South Asian community because the community is active and effective.
Radio in the state.
But Images try to stop support to community radio in Odisha and very unfortunate, “said Ansari.
