New Delhi: Chinese soldiers on Sunday told Indian defense officials that they had found a teenager missing from Arunchal Pradesh.
“Chinese soldiers have communicated to us that they have found missing boys from Arunachal Pradesh,” said Pro Defense, Tezpur Lt of Col Harshvardhan Pandey.
The legal procedure is now followed for a 17-year-old return of Miram Taron.
Lok Sabha MP from Arunachal Pradesh Tapir Gao on January 19 Tweeted about teenagers who was kidnapped by the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA) from the upper district of the afternoon.
Immediately after Gao’s tweet, officials in the district said they had provided all the information sought by higher authorities and were waiting for 17 years.
Miram Taron, the native of Zido Village in this district, allegedly kidnapped on January 18 from the forest in the Siyungla area, where he went hunting with his friend Jhonny Yaying (27), said afternoon DC Shaswat Saurabh upon.
Saurabh also said that he had learned that it was almost dark when the Chinese army surrounded it in the Siyungla area, near Bishing Village.
