Four health workers in the PPE kit pushed it to the Covid wing, where they placed it in oxygen support.
Haryana’s health department has directed all districts to conduct exercises at government hospitals on Sunday to identify gaps in medical care for covid patients.
Drill in Civil Hospital continued for two hours, with the Chief Gurgaon Medical Officer Dr.
Virender Yadav who attended the event.
“We do exercises to examine ambulance management cells, oxygen supply and problems that can arise if there is an increase in covid hospitalization,” Yadav said.
“Administration is well prepared to deal with an unpleasant scenario.
We also assess drug equipment at the central drug store and the number of warehouse drugs.” Meanwhile, doctors in hospitals responded to various scenarios involving mild, medium and severe patients.
They moved volunteers to other hospitals in a short time.
They also bring out the protocol when the oxygen supply equipment does not work.
“The exercise ensures that hospital staff know their duties and can be regulated in an emergency,” said Dr.
Manish Rathi, Deputy Medical Officer, Civil Hospital.
