Milwaukee: Five people were found dead at Milwaukee’s house on Sunday where the police were being investigated as several murders, according to the Milwaukee County medical examiner office.
Milwaukee police responded around 3:45 a.m.
to help with a welfare check at the residence where four men and one woman were found dead, Milwaukee Police Assistant Chief Paul Formolo said at a press conference Sunday night.
The identity of the victim was delayed.
“Residents from our community have worries with residents who live there,” Formolo said.
“This is a normal call for us to respond.
We do it all the time.” Motives and information about suspects are not immediately known, Formolo said.
He said there was no information to suggest that there was a threat to the community.
“The Murders found today in the housing block in the heart of our terrible city,” Milwaukee Major Cavalier Johnson said in a statement on Sunday night.
“First, I offer condolences to families and friends from the victims.
Whatever the condition, we must share the sadness of those who have lost loved ones.” Autopsy will be carried out on Monday, the medical examiner office said.
