Chandigarh: Head of IG and STF Genesis Karnal Mamta Singh, SP (CID) Surender has been chosen for presidential police medals for their leading services.
While Mamta Singh and Surender VATS will receive medals during state-level functions, 12 other police will also receive a police medal for their merit service during the Republican day functions held in each district.
Mamta Singh has a long duty with the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) during its central deputation.
“I thank the Indian government, my superiors and subordinates about this recommendation.
What we do is work as a team,” said Mamta Singh.
While Vats Surender has handled various posts in the field and police headquarters before joining the Wing Cid Police Haryana.
