Patna: After testing the success in the assembly selection of 2020, Aimim has decided to oppose the election to the 24 seats empty legislative council from the quota of Pancayati Raj and Urban Local Body in the state.
Aimim has also begun to imagine a greater role for himself in the future, if the offer for the establishment of a new government is made.
“Until now, by consulting the leadership of the party’s center, we have decided to involve our candidates in all 24 legislative council seats,” said Head of State Aimim Akhtarul Iman on Monday.
While drawing empty in the election of the 2015 assembly when Aimim challenged six seat assembly in the Seanthal districts (Purnia, Kilaanganj, Katihar and Araria), he won the election held in the Kishanganj assembly chair in 2019, and followed him by winning five assembly seats in elections assembly 2020.
