Ahmedabad: Tremor Magnitude 3.2 experienced in the South Valsad Gujarat District on Wednesday afternoon, said the Semismological Research Institute (ISR), but there were no victims or damage to the property reported.
The small earthquake has an earthquake center of about 46 km east-northeast of Valsad and took place at 12:46 a.m.
at a depth of 9 km, the ISR said in the update on its website.
A district administrative official said there was no loss of life or damage to the property reported because of the tremor.
Can be recalled that it was on the same date in 2001 that Gujarat was shocked by an earthquake 6.9 with episentase located near Bhachau at Kikch District.
The earthquake has killed 13,800 people and injured 1.67 other lakh, according to the information provided by the Gujarat state disaster management authority.
